AMERICAN RAILWAYS™ Mobile Division provides specialized rail welding, joining, bonding, grounding, inspection, and testing services throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Our mobile crews include certified rail welders, experienced engineers, inspectors, and technical specialists, deployed with the proper welding materials, specialized equipment, testing instruments, and tooling required to perform field work safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable project specifications, railway procedures, and industry standards.

PUDDLE ARC WELDING

Our experienced welders perform puddle arc welding using specialized copper molds/blocks and welding electrodes to produce a complete rail joint. The molten weld pool is contained and formed during welding, followed by controlled finishing and precision grinding of the rail head to restore the required rail profile. Our experienced specialists focus on weld integrity, dimensional accuracy, and consistent field quality.

RAIL ELECTRIC FLASH-BUTT WELDING

Our mobile flash-butt welding crews can deploy directly to railroad and transit projects to perform electric flash-butt welding, rail alignment, weld finishing, inspection, testing, and quality documentation. Our engineers and certified personnel support applications ranging from conventional and heavy rail to passenger, electrified, and high-speed rail infrastructure.

RAIL TRACK SIGNAL & POWER BONDING

Our crews provide installation, welding, inspection, testing, repair, and certification support for rail signal, traction-power, impedance, and electrical bonding systems. We deploy the appropriate personnel, materials, tools, and test equipment to support reliable electrical continuity and system performance.

RAIL TRACK ALUMINOTHERMIC / THERMITE WELDING

Our certified rail welders and engineers can mobilize to railway, transit, industrial, and crane-rail projects throughout the USA, Canada, and Mexico to perform aluminothermic thermite welding, rail joining, weld finishing, inspection, testing, and quality-control services for a wide range of rail profiles and field conditions.
