AMERICAN RAILWAYS

LAB & TESTING
AMERICAN RAILWAYS™ — RAIL & WELDING TESTING
AMERICAN RAILWAYS™ has in-house capabilities to perform comprehensive rail and weld strength testing in accordance with AREMA requirements and UIC/EN standards. Our experienced rail welding and quality teams provide testing, inspection, documentation, and certification for freight, passenger, transit, and high-speed rail applications.
SLOW BEND TEST
Our team performs controlled slow bend testing to evaluate the strength, ductility, structural integrity, and performance of rail welds. Testing can be performed in accordance with applicable AREMA and UIC/EN requirements to validate welding procedures and finished weld quality.
LOAD TEST
AMERICAN RAILWAYS™ performs controlled load and strength testing of rails, rail welds, and track components to verify their ability to withstand specified loads and service conditions. Testing results can be documented for quality assurance, qualification, acceptance, and certification requirements.
VIBRATION & FATIGUE TEST
Our testing capabilities evaluate the performance of rails, welds, and track components under vibration, repeated loading, and simulated operating conditions. These tests help identify weaknesses, fatigue behavior, and potential long-term performance issues before components are placed into critical railway service.
IMPACT / HAMMER TEST
Our experienced technicians perform impact and hammer testing to evaluate weld integrity and identify potential defects, weaknesses, or abnormal conditions in rail and welded joints. Testing can be incorporated into a broader rail weld inspection and quality-control program.
COMPLETE TESTING, INSPECTION & CERTIFICATION
AMERICAN RAILWAYS™ provides a complete solution—from welding and sample preparation through testing, inspection, documentation, and certification. Our crews can support projects throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico, including on-site testing when practical and laboratory testing when specialized equipment or controlled conditions are required.
TEST. VERIFY. CERTIFY. — BUILT FOR NORTH AMERICAN & INTERNATIONAL RAIL STANDARDS.
